When inspecting the exterior of the home the inspector will want to look for an exterior faucet. If there is a hose attached to the faucet you will want to make sure to secure it after you have checked the water pressure. We are looking for the pressure to be between 40 to 80 PSI (pounds per square inch). If it is not within this range you will want to put it in the report as a defect.
As you can see from the picture above this water pressure is extremely high at 145 PSI, which could cause damage to the pipes and eventually cause leaking.
